Bob Landry: News

Bob on ETV South Carolina - July 8, 2008

Bob Landry performed "UNSUNG HEROES" at the one year memorial service for the Charleston Nine in Charleston, SC. on June 18th, 2008. This was such a great Honor because this is the Service for the nine firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice in June, 2007. The song was inspired by that incident.

“When those nine firefighters lost their lives, it really struck a cord with me,” recalls Landry. “Writing ‘Unsung Heroes’ was my way of remembering them and making sure others do as well.”

You can view a short documentary on the service at the ETV South Carolina website. Bob can be seen performing "Unsung Heroes" near the end of the Video.
